Well with the picture above you can see I did work at Wal-Mart. Well it was really for an orintation meeting that we had to go to before we went to do the tests (see Feb blog) that really made no sense to me. The other job I tried for didn’t make it either so maybe I am going to take the year off now and enjoy it with Linda when she gets off.
We are kinda sorta looking for another dog but not sure if we want a Yorki or another Cocker. We miss the Luckster and can’t ever replace her but maybe a barking dog around the house will put me back in a better mood. Linda would like a Yorki and well if we find one that is fine. We both know it will limit us to our travels without the trailer but well we could find a place that a new dog could stay at when we wanted a day away from both critters and stay at a hotel someplace, or a casino! We are planning a trip to Duluth for an overnight at Fitgers and Jack and Carol from Clam Lake are going to join us there.
I have the winter blues and really looking forward to getting outside and doing something. I have the garage door to paint and an antenna to put up and one to take down and that will take some warmer weather and lots of snow to melt. There is a swapfest coming up in early May that we are looking forward to and then we can spend some time in Duluth for an over night.
We have some old friends Bob and Jan, that we have not seen in 35 years, coming up the end of the month for a visit. Maybe we can go out and see some of the local area stuff and spend time here at the house talk radio with Bob while the ladies do their thing like get into beading and Jans work with testing personal products. I’d like to know more about that and maybe I can do stuff like that to make a few extea bucks! Hmmm one never knows right?

Well, we’re at it again! This gentleman’s name is Ranger and he was dropped off at the SPCA [way out in the middle of nowhere PA!]. I took the day off yesterday and drove up to bail him out. This one is special. He’s adorable and we’re already having a blast. Jamie already wants to keep him . . . she might not be the only one, but we agreed to a two dog limit some time ago. Anyway, he’s pretty small for an English Springer, but he is DEFINITELY an English Springer from head to stubby tail. Typical two year old, full of energy – takes the stairway in about two seconds – and fun loving . . . in other words he fits in nicely.
